| Welcome to The Derbyshire Ensemble The Derbyhshire Ensemble was established in 1997, by the groups Artistic Director, Jonathan Francis During the Christmas 1997 season, Adam Green guest conducted the Ensemble and from that point became Principal Conductor of the Ensemble. The groups is based in Matlock and aims to produce the best in musical theatre, drama, choral music and orchestral music, performing throughout the year in a variety of venues. |

| Next Projects Our 2001-2002 season will beggin with our annual Christmas Concert, which will take place this year in All Saint's Church, Matlock on Sunday 2nd December as pasrt of the Matlock Victorian Christmas Weekend. After Christmas we will go ino producttion on Roald Dahl's The Witches, adapted by David Wood, which will take place in the Whiworth Institute, Darley Dale in January. |
